As Others See Us

This Popular Science article first surfaced online a few weeks ago, but here's the proper link. Much of the action referred to takes place at <plokta.con>; surely our members aren't unusually bearded or pedestrian in appearance compared to the readership of Popular Science?

Pedestrian - feh! I'm going to have to get a small battery-powered UV light and hold it above my head so my hair glows. That'll show 'em!

While I wasn't at plokta.con (indeed, I've never been to any plokta.con), it is difficult for me, knowing a few of the members of the plokta cabal, to put much credence in the description of the women as being pedestrian in appearance.
